Our Story

A1 Fire & Security doing business as MES - Florida

A1 Fire & Security is a proud member of the Mircom Group of Companies. Our team has proudly served our valued clients in Florida since 1975. We are now doing business as MES - Florida (Mircom Engineered Systems Florida.) Mircom Group of Companies products are installed throughout Florida and we provide service in Miami-Dade, Broward & Palm Beach counties.

Typically, the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requires all permit applications for fire alarm systems new and retrofit to be provided by a UL, FM or ETL Certified company. In addition, the AHJ mandates in the Fire Code (NFPA 101) that qualified companies perform inspection, testing and maintenance services.

A1 Fire & Security is a UL Certified Fire Protection Contractor and Service Company, with a large fleet of trucks and extensive experience in new and retrofit life safety system project applications.
